So I have just started using Arcweave and wanted to show my appreciation by writing about my experience.

Firstly the tool helped me visualize a complex story tree which is great since I felt it was very intuitive to use.

The following are my suggestions and issues I encountered but be warned I might have overlooked some options and just didn't know how to use them:

    - The text cursor dissapeared while at the begining or end of the box or even at times when I clicked somewhere to write. Thus I have no idea if it's at the right spot until I start writing

    - I worked with a lot of small notes and this meant it easyly looked messy. I would like to request a feature, that one can manually allign the arrows at the notes by dragging. Also it would be coo if there was an option to use straight arrows instead of curved ones.

    - I would like to use Tab to get more space between some words but this tabs between notes.

    - I really liked the feature, that one could make small notes on graph arrows. Sadly at  times they would overlapp nearby notes of the same kind and thus become unreadable.

    - De-selecting a box by clicking on an emty space sometimes doesn't actually deselct the box and when double clicking to deselect it for sure it creates a new empty note (I know this is intended)

-When copy pasting or duplycating a note It would be cool if it appeared where the cursor is hovering.

-Wehen dragging to select (shift mouse drag) the selection only includes fully enclosed objects. It would be more intuitive for me if everything if only partially in my selection box would be selected.

-Arcweave didn't work on mobile devices at all (in the explorer)

Those are the main issues I had.

There are some smaller features I would whish were included like links to notes, like the ones one can create for boards or I'd whish for a broader color selection for coloring notes but over all I'm happy having used Arcweave since it is easy to use. I decided on it because other tools where far too complex and overkill for my purposes and my whole team could work on it.

Thanks for making Arcweave and providing it free to use.

-I hope this is the right section to post this-

Thanks greatly for your feedback Mingapur! Here are a few answers to your questions:

    - The text cursor dissapeared while at the begining or end of the box or even at times when I clicked somewhere to write. Thus I have no idea if it's at the right spot until I start writing

Can you let us know your browser and OS? This is a known issue for Firefox users that is already in our backlog.

    - I worked with a lot of small notes and this meant it easyly looked messy. I would like to request a feature, that one can manually allign the arrows at the notes by dragging. Also it would be coo if there was an option to use straight arrows instead of curved ones.

Yes, we plan to implemet manually adjusting a connection to the preferred side and adding straight arrow style option as well.

    - I would like to use Tab to get more space between some words but this tabs between notes.

This is interesting, might have some implications though. We ll take it into consideration.

    - I really liked the feature, that one could make small notes on graph arrows. Sadly at times they would overlapp nearby notes of the same kind and thus become unreadable.

Hopefully this will be adressed when we will add the option to attach commection to element side, as no overlapping should happen then.

    - De-selecting a box by clicking on an emty space sometimes doesn't actually deselct the box and when double clicking to deselect it for sure it creates a new empty note (I know this is intended)

This looks like a bug, unfortunately we cannot recreate it. Can you provide a bit more info as to when this happens?

-When copy pasting or duplycating a note It would be cool if it appeared where the cursor is hovering.

Agreed, sounds like a good improvement. We added it in our backlog.

-When dragging to select (shift mouse drag) the selection only includes fully enclosed objects. It would be more intuitive for me if everything if only partially in my selection box would be selected.

Agreed, we will add this as an improvement in our backlog.

-Arcweave didn't work on mobile devices at all (in the explorer)

Currently Arcweave supports only viewing projects in mobile devices (in Chrome). Full mobile support is planned for 2020.

We also plan on adding more colors to elements and notes as well as "jumps" to elements but these will probably happen a little later in the pipeline as we are swamped with current features :)

    Thanks for the great answer.

I'm using Firefox so that explains the disappearing cursor.

    - De-selecting a box by clicking on an empty space sometimes doesn't actually deselect the box and when double clicking to deselect it for sure it creates a new empty note (I know this is intended)

This occurs when I deselect (or select) by double clicking, as said it's probably intentional but a bit confusing. I tried reproducing and found that the issues with selecting while clicking once are caused by dragging a tiny bit instead of deselecting as intended.

I tried chrome on mobile and it worked if a bit laggy (might be my device).

Thanks again for so thoroughly answering my 'review and suggestions' and sorry about the bad grammar.

Thanks for the info and your suggestions, Mingapur. We added the cursor issue it in our backlog and will check it out asap. Please be a bit patient with mobile support, we will spend some time to optimize it later this year.
